Kickstarting the Ramadan celebrations with some good for your Mocktails is just what the doctor ordered. Say hello to the newest green, clean. Shake up your iftar with these five easy mocktails to whip up in an instant
1 large cucumber
4 fresh Lemon
2 fresh Lime
5 tsp of honey syrup
Fresh mint or basil leaves club soda
Half liter of still or Sparkling water
Chop half of the cucumber. Add the chopped cucumber to a large saucepot
Press some lemon juice ( 2 lemons & 1 lime)
Add the lemon juice, honey syrup, and 1/2 of the mint leaves to the saucepot.
Place the pot over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally until the sugar is completely dissolved (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from the heat.
Pour the liquid through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the cucumber and mint.
Add the liquid to a large serving pitcher.
Slice the remaining half of the cucumber. Slice the remaining lemon and lime.
Add the water, sliced cucumber, sliced lemon, and the remaining mint leaves to the pitcher. Stir well.
