Wellness is all the rage right now! This week we’re going to have the chat no-carb lover wants to take part in, The gluten chat. Hear us out! By no means are we suggesting you cut it out! But limiting your daily gluten intake is a good habit to get into. Here are a few reasons why.

REDUCE THE BLOAT

Our bodies are wonderful things, but like anything else, they have some weaknesses. Our stomachs don’t have the ability to digest wheat entirely. The bits left behind tend to cause gas that leaves us feeling bloated. Less gluten means less bloating. Yes, please!

Gluten-filled foods have a tendency to make us feel a bit sluggish. Cutting down on gluten can make people feel less tired and more active.

CLEARER SKIN

Many of us have a sensitivity to gluten and may not even realize it! Eating gluten with any sort of gluten sensitivity can cause skin irritation and acne. Suffering from breakouts? Try a gluten light diet for a couple of weeks.

PROMOTE WEIGHT LOSS 

Many carbs are super filling but hold little nutritional value. When you limit your gluten intake you leave room to fill up on healthier foods like lean meats, fruits, and vegetables!
